Numanthia is the signature wine of Bodega Numanthia, widely recognized as a benchmark for the Toro appellation. It is a refined blend of grapes that delivers a unique balance of elegance, power, and depth. The style of Numanthia is rooted in the selection of exceptional old vines, aged between 50 and 100 years. Year after year, these carefully chosen low-yield vines produce grapes of remarkable concentration, offering intense fruit aromas and a robust structure. The aromatic profile is reminiscent of Médoc wines, with an expressive nose and palate, beautifully balanced silky tannins, and a well-structured mouthfeel. There’s a subtle mid-palate attack, a touch of energy and tension with hints of graphite and underbrush, yet all is tightly controlled, leading to a long, smooth, and elegant finish.
