When Johann-Joseph Krug founded the House of Krug in 1843, his dream was to create a truly exceptional Champagne that would bear his name.
To achieve this, he established several guiding principles, the most important of which was: never compromise on quality. Six generations later, he passed on to his successors a legacy of unwavering excellence. Krug is one of the few Champagne houses that produces only prestige cuvées.
Its wines are crafted from carefully selected grapes of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier varieties.
