Licor 43 is a Spanish liqueur. It is made from citrus and fruit juices, flavored with vanilla and other aromatic herbs and spices, with a total of 43 different ingredients. Distillery is located in Cartagena, Spain and was founded in 1924. The history of Licor 43 liqueurs began in 1940 when the company began to renew the ancient Roman recipe known as Liqvor Mirabillis. When the Romans conquered Carthago Nova, they encountered Liqvor Mirabillis, a golden aromatic elixir made from local fruits and plants. Today, this elixir inspires the Licora 43. Mr. Diego Zamora and his brother Angel and sister Josefin, with the support of Emilia Restoya, Joseph’s husband gathered all they had, with hard work and unlimited enthusiasm, started the production of liqueurs. In a few years they have become a market leader. Thousands of tourists enjoy flavors and aromas of Licor 43. At present, Licor 43 is sold in more than fifty countries making it the most important Spanish liqueur.
