‘With Quality Wine And People You Cannot Fail’ Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier has been avant-garde in creating unique and elegant Champagnes for nearly two hundred years making it one of the world’s most esteemed Champagne brands, and also the largest family-owned brand.

Brut L-P

Brut non-vintage is always the expression of the House style and, as such, it is the signature champagne. Laurent-Perrier Brut’s style is defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay which provides a natural purity, freshness and elegance. These essential characteristics, expressed in all our champagnes, are a good introduction to the spirit of Laurent-Perrier. The Laurent-Perrier Brut also benefits from ideal ageing in the cellars: three years minimum for a 75cl bottle, and four to five years for a magnum. Its balance and natural freshness are enhanced by a light dosage. After the dosage, the wines are kept in the cellar to rest for several months before shipment.   TASTING NOTES APPEARANCE: Pale gold in colour with a steady flow of fine and persistent bubbles. NOSE: Delicate yet complex, fresh and well-balanced with hints of citrus and white fruits. TASTE: Well defined, subtly rounded with expressive flavours. The fruit progressively emerges to reveal a finely balanced champagne displaying great length on the finish. SERVING: Serve between 8°C and 10°C. The combination of freshness and purity of the Laurent-Perrier Brut has been a major factor in the success of champagne as an aperitif. Its citrus and white fruit notes — such as vine peach — and its remarkable balance supported by subtle bubbles make it the perfect companion for the finer moments in life. A true vin de plaisir. THE BLEND GRAPE VARIETIES: Chardonnay: 50%  — which is a particularly high proportion, double the average in Champagne — Pinot Noir: 35 %, Pinot Meunier: 15 %. VINEYEARDS: The blend is made from more than 55 individual crus or villages, with an average cru rating of 94% on the échelle des crus and up to 20% of reserve wines are also used, thus ensuring perfect consistency in the style.

Cuvée Rosé

The Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier was created in 1968 using bold, innovative ‘savoir-faire’ methods learned from production of still wines called ‘Coteaux Champenois.’ Perfected at each stage of its making, the Cuvée Rosé is now the benchmark in its category. Held in an elegant wine bottle inspired by King Henri IV, this rosé champagne has been widely acknowledged for its consistent high quality for more than 40 years. Laurent-Perrier’s technical facilities are dedicated to the making of the Cuvée Rosé. Grapes from carefully selected plots are then meticulously sorted and destemmed before going into the vats. Controlled maceration — lasting from 48 to 72 hours depending on the harvest — helps the extraction of color and the development of the full aromatic richness of the Pinot Noir. It is aged in the cellars for at least four years. TASTING NOTES APPEARANCE: Elegant, with color changing naturally from a pretty raspberry hint to salmon-pink. NOSE: Precise and very crisp. Wide range of small red fruits: strawberries, red currants, raspberries and black cherries. Its amazing freshness is the dominating note. TASTE: Intensely fruity flavors, clean, well-defined and slightly sharp, the wine then opens up to provide an impression of plunging into a basket of freshly picked red berries: strawberries, Morello cherries, black currants and raspberries. The wine is supple and rounded on the finish. SERVING: Serve at around 8°C and 10°C.   The Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is a delicious apéritif. This cuvée, thanks to its aromatic character, allows various food and wine pairings. It matches well with raw fishes (marinated red mullets and tartare of tuna), grilled prawns, fine charcuterie (such as Italian prosciutto), duck, lamb and creamy cheeses such as Chaource. The Cuvée Rosé is also an extraordinary match for red fruit desserts. The more daring will try it with Asian — even Indian — cuisine. THE BLEND GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Pinot Noir. VINEYARDS: Blended from 10 different ‘crus’ (or villages) situated mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims— including the famous Côte de Bouzy – notably from the finest crus of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne.

Ultra Brut

ultra brut
Its creation is contemporary like that of Nouvelle Cuisine. Similar to this lighter, purer way of preparing food, Ultra Brut Laurent-Perrier appears without make-up, in its natural form. It is a brut nature champagne, that is, with no dosage, and making it requires considerable know-how. Its style appeals to a growing number of wine-lovers who discover with it many new ways of enjoying champagne.     TASTING NOTES APPEARANCE: Very pale and crystal-bright in colour. NOSE: Intense and complexe on the nose, with a wide range of aromas, including citrus and white fruit and flowers, such as honeysuckle. The combined effect gives off an impression of freshness, much like ocean air. TASTE: Airy and delicate, yet surprisingly long. Floral and fruit flavours combine with mineral notes to give a wine that is pure without being austere. The finish is long and leaves the palate clean. SERVING: Serve at around 8°C and 10°C.   THE BLEND GRAPE VARIETIES: chardonnay 55 %, pinot noir 45 %. VINEYARDS: Made exclusively from grapes from very ripe harvests and blended from fifteen crus or villages with an average rating of 97 %.

Brut Millesime 2006

Brut millesime 2006
Laurent-Perrier is selective when declaring vintages – rarely declaring them and only in the very best years with a unique character. Thus the BRUT MILLÉSIMÉ (Vintage Brut) is an exceptional wine and while it maintains the signature style of the House’s wines, it refl ects the unique characteristics of the vintage year. Laurent-Perrier’s millésimes have excellent ageing capacity. The wine-growing year began with a cold winter, but not so cold as to damage the vines. Spring was generally mild with very few frosts, except in early April. Rainfall was normal. Summer was a time of contrasts, with a heatwave and very patchy rainfall in July, while August brought frequent storms, followed by cool, overcast weather and unusually high rainfall. Severe episodes of hail affected 4,750 hectares in 71 municipalities. The grapes were harvested between 7th and 25th September, depending on the sector. Ripeness levels in an abundant harvest were satisfactory, if uneven. TASTING NOTES APPEARANCE: A light yellow with delicate beading. NOSE: A delicate, subtle nose with aromas of fresh pineapple, dried apricots and almonds. TASTE: A very pleasant, rounded attack, followed by a marked sense of balance, with a lively fi nish offering hints of white peach and mirabelle. SERVING: Serve at around 9°C and 11°C. The Brut Millésimé 2006 pairs harmoniously with fish in sauce, while its roundness and delicacy will prolong your tasting pleasure in the company of poultry or other white meats. THE BLEND GRAPE VARIETIES:  Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 50%. VINEYARDS:  Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims: Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly, Louvois, Bouzy and Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs: Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, Mesnil-sur-Oger.
